How do I know if I need the advice of a professional financial planner?

Answered By Randy Yingger, Editor

The answer is the same as with everything, if you don’t know anything about a certain subject and you have serious doubts, ask an expert. If you have some serious trouble understanding your financial status, a professional planner will be the key.

Receiving a financial windfall can be quite overwhelming, but ensuring that it would last may require some expertise, an expertise only a professional financial planner can offer.
